Common QR scanning and activation issues — and how to resolve them in under a minute.
QR code won't scan or camera can't detect it+
Increase the screen brightness on the device displaying the QR, hold the phone 15–20 cm away, and make sure the whole code is in frame. If you're viewing the QR on the same phone you want to install on, use the manual SM-DP+ address and activation code from your order email instead.
"Cellular plan cannot be added" or "Unable to complete activation"+
This usually means the QR has already been used or the device lost connection mid-install. Confirm Wi-Fi is stable, then go to Settings → Mobile Service and remove any half-installed A.R.I.A line before retrying. If the QR is already consumed, contact support — we'll re-issue it.
eSIM installed but "No Service" or no data+
Toggle Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then off. Open Settings → Mobile Service → A.R.I.A line and confirm Data Roaming is ON and the line is enabled. Set A.R.I.A as your Mobile Data line. Allow up to 5 minutes for the network to attach on first use abroad.
Wrong APN or slow / unstable connection+
Most plans auto-configure the APN. If data is slow, manually set the APN under Mobile Data Network as shown in your activation email. Switch between 5G and LTE in Voice & Data — some local networks perform better on LTE.
"Invalid QR Code" on Android+
Some Android skins require updating to the latest OS, or using the carrier's companion flow. Update, then retry. If it persists, use the manual activation code from your email.
Device not supported / not eSIM-capable+
Dial *#06# — if you see an EID, your device supports eSIM. Carrier-locked devices (e.g. some US-locked iPhones) cannot accept third-party eSIMs. Contact your original carrier to unlock, or use an unlocked device.

Important
Do not delete your eSIM after installation unless support advises you to. Some eSIMs cannot be reinstalled once removed.
